Easy-to-Read: What it is and how it works
Easy-to-Read is a methodology designed to write or adapt and validate a text in an accessible way. This means that people with comprehension difficulties can understand what they read. Text accessibility guarantees that the message can be understood by a wide group of people.
Who benefits?
Everybody who has difficulties understanding a text will benefit from Easy-to-Read. These groups include people with intellectual disabilities and other developmental disorders, recent migrants who are not native speakers of Spanish, seniors, among others.
